It's more interesting. It's looks more like it's capturing movement instead of freezing a specific moment. Also, just got back from my trip to Maine and took some pics along the way. I'll post some higher res versions later tonight.

Adobe Lightroom before/after...
(Photo Experts: The actual pictures might not be shot the best way or have the best lighting. Thats why I rely on Lightroom to make my photos shine a bit more.) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like the soft dreamy feel of the backlighted shot of the little girl. It's cool how you were able to save a difficult shot. It might be cool if you left the color in the girl and flattened the background to black and white since it's nearly that way already. Just a thought. Oh and brush out those internal lens reflections.

This could be a great ad for Lightroom or any other photo editing program for that matter..really shows how important editing is,.,..,what happens after the pic is taken is nearly as important as the shot itself...These photo tools are absolutely necessary for serious and even semi-serious photography and this is a great demonstration of why...

Much better after light room, but maybe a little overkill on the car ie front end. Kit lens?

On the white car shot, it looks like the car has gone flat as you've done things to enhance the rest of the shot. Try isolating the car and adjusting it separately.

I personally prefer my mid-tones a bit darker, but that shot is good regardless of my preference.
BTW, try shooting at 55mm with 5.6 aperture. That gives you a softer background and a longer focal length which is pleasing for car shots. I find that anywhere between 50-105 is a sweet spot for car shots, plus a sweeter background.
