Thanks. My plan is to trade the ring back towards something bigger and better. When I bought the ring, they said as long as I spend $1 more than what I paid for the ring, they will put what I paid towards an upgrade. We will se if they still honor that since it's been so long. The ring hasn't been touched since it was rhodium dipped the weekend she broke it off.

I'll post a few more pictures since I'm bored.

wow, great shots 98!

98intrigue 01-08-2012 05:48 PM

Thanks, guys! Surprising, those last 2 pictures were taken around midnight with the only light being moonlight. That's what a 10 minute and 17 minutes exposure can do :)

Not really an artsy shot, but it's one worth sharing:

The car is a Lister Jaguar. 1,800 lbs powered by a LS series V8 making about 650 hp. The owner of the car completed the entire build by himself.

^I wish you didnt park on top of that grate in the first two shots. Photoshop that out or something, otherwise I like it a lot. The side view in front of that shop is nice too:tup:

Yeah I tried to move it up more to cover that up, but I would have been on the street with a tripod... lol... and no, no photoshop for me... someday, if I can scrounge up 200 bucks.

I like them too, although I'd like to see a little less HDR.

thanks Onz.

I dont use photoshop either. Look up a program called GIMP. Its basically just like Photoshop but its free. Its what I use and its amazing for free software. They also have a free program called Inkscape which is more drawing oriented. Check em out, both free, both great.

I like the HDRs better lol...I see photography as art, I understand things like capturing the moment but I don't get what the deal is with HDR hate. To me, photography isn't just being able to capture the shot, it's being able to present it as you saw it when taking the shot. This, at times, requires some post editing.

Amen bro.... preach it!!!! ;)

LunaZ 01-09-2012 10:55 PM

I didn't say "no HDR". I said and meant "less".
A little wasabi can enhance the flavour of sushi where a lot of wasabi takes over and you start to not recognize the fish anymore.

Dallaz 01-10-2012 01:51 AM

Those look awesome to me. I just wish those reflections weren't as bad, especially on the first one, my fave. Great stuff

wilsonp 01-14-2012 11:22 PM

Great shots, sometimes I like the high contrast look (but I use Topaz Labs). Gimp is great, if a little peculiar in the UI, I'd also consider PaintShop Pro Photo, very powerful.

Personally I use CorelDraw suite, but I do a fair amount of Draw as well as Photo stuff.
