Thanks Mr. onzedge!
I just cleaned those up quick on the wife's laptop. She has Paint Shop Pro X on there which isn't terrible, but I think I'll wait for my new machine to come and work on last night's shoot with proper Photoshop and my new bigger monitor.

I dabble in photography. Here's a couple of mine. Using an aged Canon 40D.

Nice!
I was beginning to think I was an anomaly around here, shooting people instead of HDR cars :rofl2:

:iagree: Get the right composition and exposure the first time.

Correct. HDR is useful in a situation where there is limited light and you want to capture the details that would otherwise be hidden due to that. How it ever turned into glowing cars I will never quite understand.

Alchemy 02-22-2012 10:21 AM

I must be an a-hole, I like HDR. It can produce amazing photos. I still havent experimented with it though. I do agree its over used, its kinda like Autotune for photography :roflpuke2:

You are probably not an a-hole. At least, I never see you at the meetings.

Anyway, the HDR thing has its place -- I just do not care for it -- a preference, that's all.

Here is a few of my non-car HDR's from a while ago. I don't really shoot these much more either, ever since discovering aperture 3 and shooting in RAW there is really no need for HDR for me unless I want the look for a specific shot.

Haha thanks! I've been doing photography professionally for about 6 years now. Unfortunately work is really slow and I've been looking into some other types of employment.
