E/W: Tl;dr. Naive guy puts $1900 down on an imaginary HKS prototype TT kit that doesn't exist. Scammer withdraws paypal money, closes bank account and taunts OP. Scammer's identity is known but the catch is - he's canadian.

I've asked a guy who deals with this sort of thing for a living what the next step is but I dunno.

I'm gonna push this for a bit. I don't know anyone in Canadian law enforcement unfortunately but I know a guy who chases this sort of sh*t to ground and gets paid for it so I'll see what he thinks. I'm not going to let this go. I'm bored, need a new project and hate nonsense like this.

Yes, it's all cached and I already sent it via pdf to the Winnipeg police anyway. The bored woman answering the phone just asked me to send it in an email so I did. Regardless, his identity and address are known. I'm absolutely shocked he hasn't panicked and returned the money yet but I'm betting the donkey-toothed dummy was true to form and spent it already so he's totally screwed.
