Pics work fine. Great deal, great opportunity for someone wanting to build or replace an engine

Honest question - what is the warranty situation for a Nissan crate engine? I am familiar with how it works with Ford and Chevy, but I don't know anyone who has purchased a brand new engine from a Japanese manufacturer. Also, will the engine be considered to have been "in service" during the time you have owned it, or will the warranty period start once its new owner fills it with oil and fires it up?

You don't need to put the370z

But I bet most people would feel more comfortable with that and a more current date...

And I don't think crate motors carry any warranty from Nissan unless they install it

correct there is no warranty unless it's carried all the way through by Nissan

i don't have any current pics because it's been crated up lol... i guess i take the top off and snap a shot but it wont show anything very well

someone else asked how much it weighed... it was right around 320 with the crate as best we could measure... broke the scale doing so, so it might be a bit off

i explained above that's there's no warranty... HOWEVER if you have an in at Nissan they might be willing to inspect the engine and install it etc and call it under warranty... you'd have to have a buddy hook up though

broke the scale weighing it but i think it's about 320lbs... conservatively i'd go with 350 or something

and i don't have a 370z i have a 350z... i was on here a while back when i was looking at swapping a VQ37 into my 350z... but it's just too impractical... it would cost like 10 grand just to do the swap. i love VVEL but i don't think an extra 30-40hp and VVEL are worth 10 grand
