Closest I got to dodging it was when my mom spanked me and I put a hardcover children's book down the back of my pants thinking she wouldn't notice when she spanked me. :wtf2:

Anyways... Pooya, need an update brotha!

Lmao that's funny... I've tried something like that too but usually gets them going more

Anyway. PayPal closed the case because tracking shows delivered. I picked up the exhaust, there are no bolts or nuts. Main problem is a huge scrape on a muffler which I was not made aware of. Part of me wants to just say **** it. What should I do?

birdman71 12-02-2015 06:07 PM

Lets see pics of the muffler scrape and then you call paypal and let them know that even though the claim has been closed the product was not in the condition as it was described and sold to you, nor was it brought to your attention or disclosed at time of sale.

The nuts bolts and gaskets you can call Kevin at Fast Intentions and he should be able to give you a deal on them.

What I don't want to deal with is shipping it back. There you go:

Buff and polish that out and see how it looks. And... It's under the car, so function > looks, unless your building a show car.

JARblue 12-03-2015 11:50 AM

That's pretty major damage to have not been disclosed prior to sale. If there were no pics and you didn't request them, that's on you, unfortunately. If he shared pics without showing the damage, that is outright deception.

But if you are happy with the price you paid for the product you got (regardless of how the transaction went), then I'm in agreement with jsutton above. Buff and polish it a bit if you want, but you'll never see it without getting down on your hands and knees.

birdman71 12-03-2015 11:59 AM

The scrapes do look pretty bad but I agree with both of them above :iagree:

Bolts/nuts not in the box

http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...ps5mthbdwn.jpg

He did send me videos but nothing showing the scrapes or dings in the cans

This is the photo he had on his ad. Now that I look at it, I can see parts that may have been edited out poorly with photoshop

Cool Now you can open a new claim regarding the condition and keep the money and the product as well

I'm sure if we get an opinion from one of the photoshop gang that can vouche for some use of the photo editing kind. Wasn't this the guy that was selling them for like $850 and said it came off of his girlfriend's Z or some bs?

I want what's fair for both parties. That would be unfair to him.

I spoke with Kevin from FI and he quoted me $325 + $70 shipping to US border for one side muffler section. I'd settle for just one side even tho the other side has a few dents too with the tip scratched up.

:stirthepot: silly scammer photoshop is for Cooltoy!

File another claim with paypal and give them the modified picture, the quote from Kevin at FI, and give them the messages.

They have to do something at that point.

You are being far too generous. The other party gave up their right to fair play as soon as they photoshopped that pic.

birdman71 12-04-2015 11:53 AM

You should be getting all your money back and then you'll be able to either fix those or get a new exhaust system and sell that one for profit. except not photo shopped this time

LMBmikeZ 12-04-2015 01:03 PM

Wow Zefaulter just when I thought you were gonna get it in the end…….

Now couple days later I check in and see what has gone on and cannot believe how low some people will go :shakes head:
