Sorry about that dude.

In future though I would probably pm AK before posting like this. He might be able to help.

Good luck though:tup:

Sorry about that man. You should have it powdercoated by mike on the forum. He does good work!

I saw your album earlier, that is a shame you had to experience those problems. As long as they are cosmetic, most of the damage can be fixed with some TLC.

Matt,
I'm very sorry to see this. :(.

I had a VERY good experience with UPS damage claim. In my case, the UPS guy left my item on the porch. Then, it rained all day the next day. I called UPS and they had my claim processed in 5 minutes and I had my replacement product on my doorstep in 3 days!

I suggest you calling them and file the claim. Answer any questions they ask you and see where it goes. InfmousAXEL did say that if they deny it, send him the paperwork. He will follow up on it. Personally in my case, no one even came to check my box. They just asked the manufacturer and sent me another identical item. Hopefully everything works out.

Here are few members that were banned because of scamming/ bad or no shipment/ false product/ wrong product:

Stephen Ha (ahwaeng@yahoo.com) - user name : Dub's : A member sold him a computer. He decided to ship a broken receiver instead and attempted to get the money from paypal by filing a dispute.

Single IP address but 6 username: Stillenz1990, greddyz370 , ilaughatu 98.176.39.171 mattsdoinggoo stilleng3guy stillenz1989 :shakes head: He is an existing trouble child from another forum.

djsekz : he tried to sell bad welded shorty tails as AAM brand when it wasnt.

Just a heads up, they are all banned and out of this forum. This is just a heads up for other forums if they sign up with same name.

bought rims as listed on this post http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...s-spacers.html from kevin.z. He sent me damaged wheels and blamed it on shipping!!!!
Payment was thru paypal so when they investigated this; they said I could get my money back but I've to send the wheels back and pay for shipping. This is after I spent money on tires install and balance (this is when I found out the wheels were damaged). Makes sense to keep them instead of dealing with the loser.

I don't understand why you have to give me a bad rep when it is clear I didn't try to rip you off. I have personally checked to make sure the rims were not damaged before I shipped it and I even offered refund for the damaged rim thru paypal but you didn't take it. Now you are on the forum talking crap about me. I don't want to be bothered by you again.

Wtf how do you get tires mounted before inspecting the wheels for damage?

I couldn't see any visible damages when I got the rims, packaging was very poor when I got them. Wanted to mount the tires on these rims, so took them to a garage with road force balancing machine. The rim in question could not be balanced, the numbers were way off but the other three were balanced fine. I wouldn't have known this without getting the tire mounted and balance the wheel.

Took it to a wheel repair shop, they confirmed that the wheel had inner hub damage and the owner of that garage who must've seen thousands of these showed me a small crack which could result from an impact like the wheel hitting the curb or pot hole.

What does "poor packaging" mean? Did the box look damaged? Any pics of anything? And did he try to refund you for the wheel?

Hey Kevin

You were never forthcoming in admitting that one of the wheels you sold were damaged. At first, you blamed it on shipping, even though I told you that it had inner damage. You never offered to take the wheels back; Paypal after investigating into this with Çanada Post and the wheel repair shop, decided that the purchase price will be refunded only after the sellers receives the wheels back and shipping will be at my own cost. I think Paypal asked you to pay for shipping but couldn't legally enforce to pay for it; which you declined.
Since I already spent money on tire mounting and balancing, spending more on shipping didn't make sense, rather keep the wheels and get them fixed.

This post is about bad experiences with sellers, not intended to get in touch with you or get my money back.
