I think you missed my point. The point is this: "this car is longer than 165.4 inches".

Scion FR-S Preliminary Specifications | SCIONFIRST86.COM

LENGTH 166.7 in.

No your point is there.

scion website says 166.9

Zaggeron 04-03-2012 03:05 PM

I got the original figures from Edmunds. The Subaru site says 166.7 x 69.9 x 50.6. My original point still stands -- the picture made the car look big. It's actually quite compact.

I disagree, although looks are subjective.

I'm pretty excited to see its numbers and maybe go test one when they come out.

not seeing much room for an aftermarket turbo

XwChriswX 04-04-2012 12:00 AM

Just like all other performance cars, needs some sort of a wing, and it will be perfect. Can't wait to see a BRZ in blue in a showroom.

Expect under/behind engine bay, FMIC will require the typical mess.

Various news stories report Subaru as saying there is no turbo planned for the STi version-- they claim no room for an intercooler and that they want to keep the turbo'd division separate
