:iagree: but who knows, maybe once it's out and the aftermarket is cheap...:stirthepot:

aftermarket will be cheap because already they have more vendors lined up than the 370z has after 3 years out.

Carbon fiber butt plug....:ugh2:

Personally, as long as it is under 30K or so for a loaded BRZ limited, I'm fine with it. I'm not going to quibble over 1k or 1.5k.

If it really drives as well as the reviewers are saying, there really is nothing much like it at anywhere near that price point. People will bring up Genesis 2.0T and V6 Mustang and Camaro, but really those are all quite different cars. The "fun" factor is somewhat hard to quantify, but if it is present the car may well be worth much more than they are charging.

Actually I think the BRZ/FRS rear light actually works!

26K+ for 200hp. Yeaaa right. Then being limited the dealers will more than likey mark them up.

I think there is more to the value than the HP numbers. The last year the Lotus Elise was available in the states, the NA version had 189 HP but started in the mid 40Ks.

Now the BRZ does weigh 700lbs more than the Elise, but it is also 20K less.

Lotus you also pay for luxury/brand name

I understand your point. But I wouldn't buy either. Best value to benefit is going to be the 370 and EVO.
