I can say, speaking from 10+ years as a mechanic and repair shop manager, that of the top Japanese manu's, Nissan is not quite as reliable as Toyota/Honda, but far better than Mazda (FYI most Mazda's are derivatives of Ford Mo. Co.) and "Sh1T"subishi. Does Nissan deserve to be listed among the likes of Dodge, Ford, Mini and VW, no it does not.
