It makes no sense to use the VQ again. Its old and people dont want it in a pure sports car. If anything. It would make more sense to go back to the 3.5 and i hate to say it, but add hybrid tech as a torque booster. As the 3.5 was considered the better sports car engine and had a much nicer sound.

it's jut what I last heard. who knows if it's fact or fiction. nothing is concrete until they finally show the car and release any official info lol

Here is a question for you guys looking at maybe getting a Gen 6 Camaro...first year production? yes or no?
I know i'm not a fan of first year production, but all the parts for the Camaro, more or less have come out of the bin from other cars.
So thoughts?

If you can resist the temptation, wait for the second model year. There are always kinks that need to be worked out with every first model year.

That's my thought as well, 2nd or 3rd year. I'm most likely buying a new Chevy truck, in 16, it'll have been out for 3 years by then.

Alpha chassis = proven
8 speed auto = just about there
LT1= Sickest chevy engine yet
My link 2 = if as good as my link?
MRC = No question its the best sub premium adjustable suspension.

Im confident first year. Im sure 2nd yr would be better. But on camaro forums, people with 10 camaros that got into 11 camaros fof all the improvement got great trade deals.

I mean... it's a GM. So it will get recalled in the first couple months for something like jacked up steering racks, far-too-literal ignition switches, or excessive blinker fluid that makes headlights explode.

But to FPs point, at least they do something about it unlike Nissan who keep giving us the same **** year after year. God damn CSC. How long did it take them to ditch the steering lock? We still have a shitty *** fuel tank design as well.

Oh well, the Active Sound for 2016 will make up for all of it! Yippee!!!

Agree. It's because Nissan is only focused on the GTR. They pretty much changed that car every model year.

Base Camaro buyers may want to look at Mustang? Chinese car designer UG LEE strikes again!

If the base comes like that I'm pretty sure it's because its for people that want to build it and don't want to waste money on any of the premium stuff.

There's so many base model Camaro's with the wannabe alloy steelies in Ohio. Why, just why.
