not gonna lie I've been researching the next audi TT RS. 460hp twin turbo, DCT, and AWD.

new body actually isn't bad. I've always hated the TT too lol

I like the new style for the TT, but dont like the boxy look for the r8. : /

but the numbers look really good on it. And they depreciate really quick so after a year u can snag em really easy.

I never been a fan of the R8. only one I've liked so far is one at my cars and coffee with a wide body and a GT style wing. lots of CF helps too lol

but the new TT body is growing on me.

Caught a glimpse of the new TT on FLD. It looks pretty alright. They're pricey for what they are though.

Yea I'm guessing a TT rs would be about 70k

I couldn't justify the price of a brand new TT RS. To me it's about $12,000 over where they should be. If you consider it. Wait till there are ligtly used ones on the market and snatch one up

or wait 3 months and grab one from the dealer auction with 1-2k miles on it at a big discount. :tiphat:

If Chevy comes out with a GTA Camaro like the old pontiac...

Would you buy the V8?
Would you get the GTA Twin-Turbo?

Or would you get the ZL-! version with a Z06 engine? For $20k more than the other two?

i'd have to see specs on them plus body styling differences.

power would be the main thing along with what the suspension differences may be like how the SS, 1LE, ZL1, and Z28 all differ. but with the mag ride and all the other new upgrades it seems like there may not be such a big gap between the turning/driving abilities of each model like the current models.

then styling. who knows the differences each will have or whatever. lots of questions need to be answered for me once it's debuted.

I agree, MRC is going to somewhat level the playing field. Well the current 3.6 turbo puts down 464hp/445lbtq, 4 more than what speculated 460hp of the camaro SS. Say MRC can be had for both. And say you can get a decently equipped SS for 41k and the same equipped GTA for 44k?

How do you get into a dealer auction? Don't you need to accompany someone with a dealer license?

i'd probably wait a short period to see what mods can the turbo handle. imagine if it's like a GT-R where breathers and a tune can net massive gains :yum:

then again the V8 can gain too. I just like the idea of boost lol

also youre talking a 3k difference. doesn't even matter at that point it comes down to which engine you want

3.6TT is the engine GM rumored to be capable of 800hp modified from stock turbos. Supposedly?
