Yeah, I believe they call it "Chrome Orange." That or the traditional British racing green with yellow stripes would have been my first two choices. But I'm far from disappointed with the Krypton Green after seeing it in person!

It's gorgeous. I'd paint the wheels and roof black, but that's just me. And get a loud exhaust. Something that loud visually needs to be loud.

Oh I love that 2ZZ engine on the Elise. I had the "same" engine on my Celica years back and that little thing packs a lot of punch after 6000 up to 8200 rpm. It felt most powerful on 3rd gear on my Celica. What about the Elise?

It pulls pretty hard from any gear once over 6,000 rpm. Personally I love the feel of the tires chirping even from a roll in 2nd to 3rd, which I can hardly ever get the Z to do unless its from a dig.

I love these cars but 6'0, 36" waist = no good. I sat in one once felt like I needed jaws of life to get out!

My next car will be a 2015 Lotus Elise... 4 cylinder turbo 325hp with only 2400 pounds out of the gates
. Should only be around 55K.

Hah, this made me go look one up on AutoTrader.
Looks like only one available in Phoenix. ![]() $32k for 23k mi. Looks nice though! I would love to have one. It's one of those cars that kind of goes unnoticed, but those that notice it appreciate it for what it is. I'm always breakin' my neck when I see one, I love the little go-karts. |
