Prior to me washing my Fit on Saturday it was the dirtiest I have ever had the car in the year that I have owned it

I even had to (again) polish my headlights but now she's all clean again

I think living so close to the ocean doesn't help either!

I'm still excited about a Fit, but I've decided to go a different route, solely conservative. Basically Corolla S auto 2-yr lease. Cheap, low depreciation, and I'll learn manual on whatever cheaper, fun car I get after the Z. (Honestly, probably a Miata-type someday.) If I felt just a smidge braver with my budget, I'd do the Fit!

Well you can't go wrong with a Corolla as a daily.

For me personally the Fit works great since:

1) I can modify it and the aftermarket support is great

2) Since it's a hatchback, I can fold the seats down flat and it has more cargo room than some SUV'sa

If you change your mind, now that the new 2015 Fit has launched the previous year Fit's will drop in price

Finally got my recent additions in and took some time off to install them

Starting off with the Cusco Front Strut Bar

Blue goodness

Injen Intake

Box of goodness!

Last but not least the Progress Rear Sway Bar

Cowl removed and strut bar installed

Left mount of Cusco strut

Closeup of markings

Finally everything installed

Final pic with all of my recent adds; Mugen Oil Cap, Mugen Radiator Cap, Mugen reservoir cover, Injen Intake, Cusco strut bar.

I also took the opportunity to wash the engine bay yesterday so I am very happy with the overall outcome!

I spent some time in my friends Toyota IQ with one of these installed last week and noticed a really nice range of adaptability and throttle control for either a Eco-mode or a more aggressive throttle mode.

So I ordered one for myself and it came in today!

No sir this is the newest technology that plugs directly into the accelerator pedal and either removes lag from the drive-by-wire (performance mode) or will add lag (eco mode for heavy traffic)

I was able to install it in Saturday and already have seen an at least 5-6 MPG improvement in Eco and the Performance mode is markedly faster.

Will post pics soon, this is an amazing product!

The box itself is universal, you just need to buy the harness for your specific car

Smart Controller - Electronics

I'm going to buy one for my Z too

I just saw a bunch of 2015's on a transporter this morning, looks like we will be seeing them on the road soon

hummmm....i read the description and it states below:

"Boost Mode:

Throttle response time will become quicker and results in improved accelerator pedal feel. Returns to normal mode once pedal is pressed to fully open throttle."

why does it have to return to normal mode after wot? that i was the deal breaker for me...
primary purpose for me is to reduce throttle lag. i dont care about fuel economy on my Z.

Isn't that similar to the Sprint Booster? I know several are or were (for the fallen OG's) running that on their 370's here.

I would believe the Boost mode is just altering the tables so that you are getting to 100% throttle quicker to make it feel like there is no lag, but once you put it to the floor you are at 100% thus returning to "normal" mode i.e. 100% throttle.

It would be cool if they gave a break out of the changes.

Stock throttle table vs Apexi Boost mode.

Kenchan, if interested I would cross shop the Sprint Booster for features and price.
