considering trading my Nismo for this 5.0

As several others have said, test drive it and see if you like it better. Both cars are pretty expensive to own. They're both big heaps of fun to drive.

Mustangs are super common, Z's less so, but that's only if that matters to you. I've driven the GT. Very nearly bought one, too, but I wasn't looking to trade the Z in for it. It's a lot of performance for the buck.

I like the new rims they have. CG's on the ride. 1LE is hard to argue against though, only if what it brings to the table is what you were after. And someone get some Raid and spray that Beetle!

Haha. Thanks, SS_Firehawk. Good observation
The Beetle will be gone soon. I ordered this car in early January and the dealer said it would take at least 16 weeks for it to get here

thanks, shadoquad.

People say the insurance premium on the WRX is pretty high.
the insurance on the Beetle is lower than my 370z nismo's insurance rate at 2,000 miles a year cap.

At the time when I got the Beetle, it was meant to serve as a daily driver and because there's no space in the garage (and the car had to be parked outside), I figured a Beetle would be good because nobody would do anything to it (Turns out to be true, so far).

Now there's space in the garage, I went for a better (faster) car

Yeah, I got an STI to replace my daily driver. I love it. It's pricey to insure, but it sure is fun and practical!

The WRX insurance is pretty high, but it's worth it in my mind. Fantastic car--you should love it.

heh heh, if it rains, let me know if the roof leaks. That was an early ding on them. I'm sure they've fixed it by now.

One thing about the V8 camaro is at 45 mph, you would have to be in 5th gear. With my old 370Z nismo, I would be in 6th gear. The RPM for both would be around 1,800. Before I had the camaro, i thought i would use the 6th gear on this car more than the 370z (because it had a massive engine) but that is not true. If I used 6th gear on the Camaro at that speed, the RPM would be close to 1,000 RPM. that's just too low for me.

I know some people here think the regular Z looks better but I like the look of the Nismo better.

But after 3 years, I got used to the look and miss what it didn't have. I looked at the specs of the 2013 370Z nismo and it appears now you can add as options a better stereo system, homelink, bluetooth but still no NAV and a backup camera. I don't expect the ride quality to be softer though but I am sure for most new Nismo owners, it isn't a concern

Here's a pic of my old 370z Nismo a few weeks before I sold it

If you love your Niz and just want a better stereo, backup camera, Bluetooth, and Homelink why don't you just add them? I missed all that stuff too when I got mine so that's what I did...I also know a lot of other Nismo owners that did the same. Easy peasy and probably less $$$ than what you'll lose on the trade, with better results. Works way better than the Nissan Nav w/Bose and even the high-end factory system in my wife's car...I'm sure it'll be better than the Mustang too. Not hating on the Stang...but if those amenities are your reason for swapping, then interior mods might be the answer that you seek.

Thanks Cuban Z
actually, I got a Camaro 2SS, not a Mustang 5.0
what happened was GM and the dealer gave me an offer i couldn't refuse: $3,500 off MSRP. So, I pretty much got RS appearance package, Navigation, Dual Mode performance exhaust, Hurst short throw shifter at no charge.
On Looks, it's no contest but the camaro does come with homelink, bluetooth, a backup camera, voice activated command, 2 extra seats and a much softer ride. Lots of creature comforts so I had to do it. Sorry

this is my new ride, the black one. It was cool that the dealer had all of their cars indoor.

Every year since the camaro came out. Chevy has been doing what they gotta do to improve the car. It's not as flawed today as it was in 2010/2011.
So enjoy your ride and have fun. See if you can find FE6 suspension parts for your ride?

**inferno fvckin' orange** Hot!!!!!
