I make perfect sense... By the end of the race (I assume was more than a quarter based on the time it took to finish - 20 seconds) there is no way that the GTR got so far ahead on the launch that the Vette wouldn't have beat it. So I call BS.

Look, I'm not knocking Nissan. I'm just saying that those numbers don't add up right.

American Muscle caught up quite well !!

The Gt-R driver was drinking some soda and stopped paying attention to the Corvette.

i want to see another run between those 2 cars. if the gtr was not letting off then the vette had to have a horrible start. i demand a re-match.

lol, why would the GTR let off. look at the other vids from those people and none of the cars are letting off. the vette seems to have had some minor traction issues.

How about just "normal" everyday traction issues that everyone racing has to cope with????

Ever since the Cobra Mustang Terminator came out in 2003 and started handing Vettes their butts the Vette-mongers have done nothing but whine and had excuse after excuse whenever they lose a race.

Man, why don't they just shut-up, grow a pair and "man-up" once and for all instead of acting like a whining pussy everytime one gets beat...

not sure what you're trying to get at since i dislike Vette's, just saying that is the reason why the Vette fell so far behind. i'm sure any rwd car w/high hp would have dealt with the same issue.

OT: they have good races with good cam quality

Catching up doesn't win races unless the car catching up crosses the finish line first....which obviously wasn't the case in the video...so why do you Vette-mongers continue to let your denial in your minds create a "happy" ending and excuse for the Vette that your own eyes can't substantiate or rationalize?

And why dont you admit you are a fanboy and cant see that stock for stock the Vette is WAY faster than the GTR. it is proven time and time again in magazines and on the track. You can put a bad driver in any car and its not going to do well. You can take two modded cars and put them up against each other and it will depend on who has the best mods. The GTR against the ZR1 is not even a remotely close race. This Lingenfelter is probably running about 60hp more than the ZR1... the GTR gets another 120hp. There is no way a good driver in the Lingenfleter is going to loose to a good driver in the GTR.

I have seen stock Z06s running into the 10s. Now I am not a Corvette fan (I actually own a Viper SRT-10) but I know ******** when I see it... you on the other hand... well we have seen your posts.

Whats funny to me is the Vette still looked better losing than the GT did winning. haha

Dollar for Dollar the Z06 hands down is the better overall buy... oh and you can use the launch control and still have a warranty (DOH)

I've also seen stock Z06's clip 10's here in AZ, and seen them own on the hpde track and Nasa and Road Course. Not saying that the GTR wouldnt do well in those categories just yet to see one do it locally in person.

Dont get me wrong I am an Import purest at heart but when it comes down to dirty the Z06 is one nasty b*tch!

I suspect an invisible tow line that pulled the Corvette, which caused it to catch up.

this race is exactly what happened when i raced this evo at the track last week.. he killed me off the line by like 2 car lenghts but mid track i started gaining a LOT of ground and by the end we where side by side. 3rd gear drop and the corvette would leave the GTR
