That "track pack" option is pretty awesome. Seems like it comes with all of the important bits from the Boss. I'd still never buy one though, I enjoy driving more unique cars. Mustangs are so dime a dozen, and around here 90% of the drivers are either chicks, or fratboy's driving like ********.

This is the primary reason I have taken the Mustang off my list of "next sports car". Though you do get a whole lot for sub $40k

Another reason, is it doesn't really fit what I'm looking for. In the next few years, I'll be trading in my 370Z, and getting (likely) a C7 Corvette as a weekend/track car, eventually to be track dedicated. Then for a daily driver either the next Z, or something like the BRZ (hopefully STI).

Not a bad route. I bought a '11 328xi coupe for a DD, however still want something to satisfy my performance car desires. Looking into the '13 Cayman, '12 CTS-V, or 2013 M3 - though I don't know if the M3 is too close to my 328 to make the purchase worthwhile however

Seems too close to me. It'd be like me having a GT500 as a weekend car. I'd need something completely different.
