Crap. New Windshield time :(

You really should think about taking public transit instead... You're going to die young if you stress out like this about every little thing.

Oddly, most people on my Father's side of the family are OCD and tend to fixate on things, etc. They also live into their 90's barring accidents. Considering that I tend to approach things very cautiously when my person could be forfeit, I am *likely* to be around to endure my personality disorders for quite some time.

Ironically I have taken the bus 3 times. Once from Louisiana to South Texas, and it broke down and we had no AC. Once from South Texas back to Louisiana, and it went okay. Once the public transit in SHreveport, LA, for a Community Health assignment when I was in clinical. I bailed off of it about 4 miles from my apartment and jogged home when someone reeking of rotten meat got on the bus.

Yeah but then he'd just stress out about the bus not running on schedule.

I recently had the windshield in my wifes Altima replaced by Safelite and they did a excellent job. The windshield is tight with no wind noise and everything was done neatly and clean. I feel your stress but think you have nothing to worry about. I did wash the car before I brought it in so that if they leaned up againt the car or brushed up against it which I am sure they did, the dirt on the car would not scratch the paint. So that would be my advice, wash the car before dropping it off for install. On a lighter note, I recently installed the light up sill plates and during install, burned a hole in my carpet with the trouble light and had a fit about that. Cannot see it as it is under the floor mats but I know it is there so it bothers me. I quess we are all a little OCD.

You should probably bring them 4 dozen donuts instead of just one dozen. There might not be enough to go around, and they might do something horrible to your car just to spite you.

Jesus Christ!!!

8 pages to discuss your windshield replacement?

Get it fixed like 99% of normal folks and if you're not HAPPY? Sell it and move on.
