Nice ride! Star specs are a lot of fun on that car. I loved mine--great for mountain drives. I never had issues with rain until the tread was pretty worn.

Well, actually, I had issues with hydroplaning in heavy rain, and it got progressively worse as the tires wore down, but I always had great wet grip.
If you like induction noise, pop the intake lid off sometime and hear what it sounds like. (The stock intake is an SRI with a lid clipped on top, so you'll get the full intake sound in two seconds.) I bought a CAI for the S2000 right after I did that. I always got a lot of compliments on the sound of the car, and with just the CAI the car was pretty quiet until about 4-5k RPMs. The top protectant I used a lot was Raggtopp. I got the cleaner and protectant from an s2ki forum guy Modifry. It was a bit pricey, but it seemed to work well. I still have about half of it left and don't have the car anymore--PM me if you want it and I'll send it to you whenever I get around the post office. |
