Decision made-I want V8 power but stay in the Z world

Loved my Z, & had good luck with it. Even with slicks & hard launches at the track, I had no breakage of rear/axles/driveshaft. A wonderful, fun car. I want the same experience but with some more power. No wild build for me. It have chosen a corvette engine with a bit warmer G.M. cam. Everything new & warrantied

A solid 4spd auto trans from a top trans. builder. 3 gears for the track, overdrive for the ride home

I'm leaving my 3:90 gears as well as everything Z stock

Headers/custom exhaust, with a bit of input by me

+ a tune of course. That should give me 450+ whp. Perfect for my 11.50 sec. bracket racing. I don't need to be the fastest LS-Z. Quicker than a Corvette Z06, with the classic good looks of a Z......

Hope to see some Z's at the track this spring. Better chance seeing Santa near my chimney
