I'm a defensive driver. There's almost never a need for me to accelerate right away at this vehicle's limit. I don't hold the clutch in while coasting if it's for any significant amount of time. If I'm coasting to a stop, car in neutral, clutch out. If I'm dithering on a shift, again, that's maybe a second or two. |
