However, given the new TSB, isn't Ford all anti mods of any sort now? What's annoying is that, I talked to my dealer, and I asked them if they would warranty any work having to do with the transmission (say, there's grinding of gears, etc) if I had an aftermarket shifter installed? Now I KNOW the shifter has absolutely NOTHING to do with transmission issues... but according to them, they said even if they (dealer) is okay with it, but if they have to go through Ford corporate to approve the warranty, Ford themselves may give me grief and ultimately refuse warranty to me just because I have that shifter. Complete BS, I know.... but still, now I'm all worried about getting my shifter ![]() He did state that I could always put the stock shifter back on there, which is fine.... but still, just a pain in the a$$.
