It's supposed to be a more global platform going forward, so speculation is it will be a little smaller. Probably closer to the size of the 99-04 model, which was fairly compact.

They probably need to cut the dimensions down if they are going to save 250 lbs too.

that would be a good size, not too big, not too small, but with the 5.0 it will be crazy fast (er).

Though now that I've gotten used to it I'm totally fine with the current size of the car. It would just be nice if it was a bit lighter.

lighter is always nicer. If they shrink it, it will be the only car you see running autocross
