Well if you aren't there on a regular basis I don't think you need to run to 8k at all, especially if you are concerned about reliability. I ran mine

Well if you aren't there on a regular basis I don't think you need to run to 8k at all, especially if you are concerned about reliability. I ran mine to 7800 and that was fine.
