the 260hp sorta sucked but the torque was great, assuming you knew how to drive it. Unfortunately most people can't seem to handle a car that makes such great low end torque and thus why you saw 350s beat them here and there. |

As far as insurance though, mine stayed the same :( How much are you guys paying? Mine is like 60 a month total.... same for both Z or 5.0. |

It wasn't until I switched to 4.10 gears that the car really woke up. from basically 14 flat all the way down to 13.50. Low trap, but the car ripped from a dig. I remember hanging with LS1s through the top of 2nd. It wasn't til we hit third that their power advantage would commence with the rape. It was a fun little car for sure. The risk based adjustments on the z were killing me. |

Build consists of: CAI, boss manifold, longtubes, exhaust, stage 1 comp cams and heads, and a93 tune...that's it! Only diff for me is am doing shorty headers withh off road H...so I might a few hp short of 500rwhp...now there saying that 550+ is possible NA |
I dont think the Z falls short on "Bang for Buck" It does everything the 5.0 does as good or better except speed, and even there the Z is not far off stock for stock. They both cost around the same.

for comparable cars though, the mustang is definitely cheaper. A 400A brembo mustang is comparable to a Touring+Sport Z at the closest, and goes for about $32k even if you don't negotiate. |

As to which is more bang per buck, it could go either way. With the Stang you get much more oomph for your money, by far. I mean youre getting a 412hp V8 for crying out loud. With the Z I feel your getting quality, something very capable in the twisties( not that your Stangs arent) and a little bit of exclusivity. For the straight up performance minded guy the Stang may actually have the edge. Then again I have a hard time comparing a V8 car to a V6 I mean it better damn well be faster!! If you put the Z up against other V6's it pwns. I dont mind being a tick behind a Stang on the straights, if it even happens:stirthepot: But yeah I do think the Mustang is an incredible deal, without a doubt.

I hate that word. Exclusivity. It is used too loosely here. The Z is NOT exclusive! There is NOTHING exclusive about it!
It is, however, a little rare. ;) |
Exclusive implies there are barriers to entry. Yes, I know the word is just being misused. No one actually thinks the Z is "exclusive" in its definition, they are just using that word in place of "rare."

M4a1- great animation:bowrofl: |
No 5.0 in gt5:(
But yeah. The 370 is beast in that game. |
I don't have a PS3 but I do have an xbox. The 370 is a good car in Forza 3, I suspect the same in Forza 4. I own it in a few different flavors.
No 5.0 in Forza 4 either, so we know then that the devs are 370 fanboys. :stirthepot: :bowrofl: |
If they put it in, it would handle like a literal boat.
It would be weird driving a 5.0 with a g27...might get better steering feel :bowrofl: |
I just want them to add the Boss. They said they are going to add 10 cars a month to Forza 4 so I bet it will come at some point.
BTW, are you all set up with iRacing yet? |
Nope. Haven't had time. I'm at the office literally 12+ hours a day, and I spend all my extra energy either drinking or trolling...usually simultaneously
|
Yea the car pack. How to keep you paying for a game you already own.
