In the Mid-Atlantic sub forum there should be a ZDayZ 2012 thread with the dates of the event. |

Nice
|
Don't see any Z's there. Did they not want to hang out with your 5.0? :roflpuke2:
Pics look good though  |
i showed up early...hence the pics.
It was funny though. the first two z's that showed up parked away from me...then everyone else chose to part around the stang rather than with the other z's |

BTW, seeing your clean Brembo wheels is driving me to go out and wash mine. :bowrofl:

I think gold F14s would work just fine. The Brembos are black with red lettering, so they will look fine, especially since your car is black. If you get the F14s how soon do you think you'll get them? |
Quote:
I'll probably get them when the stock tires wear out. go to 9.5s all around. trying to figure out if I can fit 18s |

and have you checked out CCW's? they make some really nice wheels |

ordered CCWs for the S. Suffice to say I never got a set that worked :ugh2: |

I know 18s are better performance wise but it think they will look minuscule on that thing!

but I was thinking the anodized red centers with black lips... http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1316277097 only red... tho this purp/black would look killer for the 300zx |
yeah, i'm not really a big fan of that styling personally, but eh...

I suggest you rotate front-to-rear every 5,000 miles for optimium life. Because of the rear axle on the Mustang the outside edge of the tire tends to wear a bit more especially if you drive like we do. The fronts wear evenly. If you rotate them it should be good for 12-15,000 miles. Otherwise you're going to get maybe 8k out of the rears. Quote:
If you want to do suspension stuff to the car you want to talk to Sam Strano... he's a multiple time SCCA national champ and is destroying AutoX with his 5.0. He runs 315s on 18x10 (or 18x10.5... can't remember) all around. Me... I'm just going to replace the Pirellis with 275 Michelin Pilot Super Sports all around... unless I get a new set of wheels. |
Quote:
Yeah, I read through Sam's thread. Lots of info in there. Trying to figure out if I'm going to be be autoXing enough/good enough at it to make it worth going with 18s. |
Dan, I've been a slacker and had not noticed your thread on the new 5.0. Congrats man! I know you've been working on something between the 5.0 or a Bimmer. Its sharp! Guess we won't be seeing you at Z Nats though eh? Either way, thats one nice looking Stang!

I will still be out for Zdayz, etc, though. Thanks! Get your SL's yet? |
Quote:
The SLs are still enroute. I figure mid-October arrival and then shipped here by end of the month. |

I'll also be around for the meet on the 8th I think. I'll be in town for AUSA. |
