If they kept it In that price range I'd buy two.

I'd be happy sub 65 if it holds up to claims.

No Mustang has ever been considered Supercar worthy. Its great for straight line red light to next red light but it seriously lacks Supercar handling. Its great for throwing around curves and fishtailing like the Bandit. And now they want to add more power to it when the power it has now cant be applied to the ground?

Is that so? and who are you to judge this exactly? Dont know if you know this, but a $45k daily driver put down a better lap time at Laguna Seca than an Audi R8... so what again, makes a supercar?

My opinion is the Mustang GT500 is a brute power monster and not a Supercar. Much like the Viper. Just because it made it around VIR quicker than some other cars does not mean that it did with any sort of prowess. For all I know the Mustangs time consisted of white knockle ragged edge driving while the Ford GT was composed and controlled around the track. My guess would be whoever drove any of those cars around VIR would not pick the GT500 as their first choice.

I am not saying that the GT500 isnt a badass car, I just dont think it will ever be a "supercar"

The Audi A8 doesnt come in a V6 base model like a Mustang, therefore the Mustang will never be a "supercar" in my opinion.

GT500 was last in all categories. Although that comparison is not fair to the Mustang because the other cars were WAY more technically advanced.

Even the test driver said the Mustang has the most power but cant apply it without losing traction.

As I stated before, its brute power thats useful to flog around for fun. But serious performing supercar it is not.
