I'm still learning the stang, but I'm sitting a foot higher in the air and it just doesn't feel as planted to me. Maybe it will in time, but the Z solidly trumps the stang in this respect.

Did you get the standard GT or the Brembo package?

FWIW even with the Brembo pack the Mustang does like to move around more than the Z, so it takes some getting used to. Stock for stock the Z is more "point and shoot" and you can get away with treating the throttle as an on/off switch for the most part. You have to be a little more careful in the Mustang.

I'm really looking forward to taking to the Dragon with it in two weeks for ZDayZ, especially now that I have a lot of seat time with it.

Non-brembo. I figure if I'm going to spend 2k on a brake kit I can probably find something that suits me better, and I'll be doing some suspension work eventually anyways.

Have you tried Sport Mode yet?

Not unless you mean turning off traction control.

Nope. Hold the brake pedal down and tap the TC button twice. A dialogue should pop up on the display saying something like "Sport Mode Activated" and you'll enjoy tighter steering response and less intrusive AdvanceTrac settings.

You guys need to talk to Sam Strano at stranoparts.com. It's not just the springs but the shocks as well. Koni yellows or Tokico D-Specs (or even the Koni STR.Ts if you dont want adjustables) and your choice of lowering springs will make a world of a difference.

Keep in mind you'll also need an adjustable panhard bar to keep the rear end in proper alignment following a drop.
