Seems like a similar trend on the track as on the street. Mustangs all over the place, lol. Good to see that they are getting something going on these days (more like the past few years).

You must have no sense of humor whatsoever. There's a reason the :stirthepot: icon exists.

I don't really know much about racing, but I don't think 16/61 is bad for a first time team, right? I knew that the chances of them winning weren't much, but still 16 isn't too bad when competing against cars that are faster than the Z stock for stock. Am I right or wrong with this?

The Continental Tire series is a two-class series. You should only really compare the 370Z against the other "GS" class cars. The "ST" class cars are considerably slower.

I think it was said somewhere by someone that stock vs stock, the Z could not possibly beat a GT.

The rules also try to keep things relatively even as far as power to weight and such.

Did not know that. Looks like they didn't do so awesome afterall :p

Why do they have two different classes racing together then?

That happens in a lot of series. In fact, Le Mans runs 2 or 3 classes at a time.

It's so that multiple classes can run on the same track, and actually part of the challenge of driving the faster class is lapping the slower cars as the race goes on.

Yeah it just seems like that slower classes have no chance of winning, so why even run. I guess it gives them a good learning experience for how they do against cars that are better than them.

They compete for class wins.
