I don't really know much about racing, but I don't think 16/61 is bad for a first time team, right? I knew that the chances of them winning weren't much, but still 16 isn't too bad when competing against cars that are faster than the Z stock for stock. Am I right or wrong with this?

It's so that multiple classes can run on the same track, and actually part of the challenge of driving the faster class is lapping the slower cars as the race goes on. |
