Challenger is a SWEET cruiser. It actually has some decent skidpad numbers for a car that size but it doesn't really handle transitions too well. But for cruising it is a badass car.

They might be putting the Viper engine into the Challenger, that would be sick!

They actually have done this before, back in 2008 at SEMA.

But I was just reading that the Drag Pak is going to be released, but for the cost of a GTR. 85k buys you a v10 Challenger, but only if you're one of the lucky 70 that gets your hands on one.

Oh, and it comes with a 2-speed automatic transmission and weighs in at 3200 lbs. This is a drag strip toy and nothing more.

I'd put a corvette engine in a 370z if I had the engine.

I think the Mustang's 5 liter has a lot more in common. Similar variable cam setups, etc. Think of Ford's 5 liter as a nissan 3.7 but with 2 more pistons. :D

I don't think of it that way at all. Throw two extra cylinders on the VQ and you don't have anything similar to the 5.0. The 5 is just way too smooth.

Anyways, it's REALLY wide so I doubt it'd work in a Z. It would be cool if it could but an LS is going to fit much, much easier.

Just throw in a RB26 or 2JZ with a single turbo and call it a day.

Yeah, my brother has a 5.0 and damn it drives smooth. The ride is also MUCH quieter. The 5.0 is a great car.
