I won't lie. It occasionally annoys me how much people gush over the Stang on here. But then I remember that it doesn't effect my feelings for my Z, and that at heart, I'm a car enthusiast, not a paid employee of Nissan. sheeit, I gush about the Z over on the Stang forums, i've never seen so much nutswinging in my life, I thought my350 was bad, these guys are flat out racist and hate anything that wasnt made in the US. Its laughable sometimes. Its funny to watch all the 2010 and below owners get all butt hurt when I show them the comparo videos when the 370 waxes their asses.

Nismo package, sorry but that is not more power for the 350z (the 370z got a slight power bump). The Nismo for the 350z was a pure track package, still touted as one of the best out of the box track cars (behind s2k and miatas).

Tell him his lag is because his VTEC had not kicked in yet and he has to rev higher.

AFM can be that way, unfortunately.

I can only spend so much time on those types of forums.
I love American muscle cars, it is what I grew up loving, but the online community for them is absolutely horrible. The 350z forum is bad just because people are douches (some would say it is an age thing), but the American car forums are just ignorant.

All forums get that way. The fanboi douchebags ruin it for everyone. There are plenty of them here (see TreyUT and others) but luckily 95% of the members are high quality and AK runs a pretty tight ship to keep us all in check. :tup:

I was telling the OG's earlier that I find it funny that I can post a technical question on the Mustang boards and go a couple days without a response, but I post here and I get help within minutes. :bowrofl:

Oh lawd. I refused to spend any time on mustang forums when I had my foxbody. Full of idiots. There was more knowledge about foxbodies on the 6th gen civic forum I was on anyways.

I avoid all car forums like the plague (and generally, if I -do- become part of the "community" I stick to the technical forums).

I'm sure there are exceptions out there (like this one!) but most forums are just nutswingin' all over the place with one or two people who actually know what they are talking about when it comes to any car except X. Of course, a lot of this has to do with no one wanting to admit the new car they just bought is worse off in any way to some car that they view as "inferior."

I'm starting to lurk away from general here, though. There are a billion X vs. 370z threads and they are all a huge joke with nothing of merit said whatsoever.
