There are some other things to consider. The Feds give a $7500 rebate and certain states will give additional rebates (Cali gives $5000 for example). In this particular example, the Leaf just went from $34k w charger to under $22k.....plus no buying gas. Of course you still have to pay for the electricity, but it's far cheaper.
