One thing that always grinds my gears about big lifted pickups are guys that drive around with huge tires and no mudflaps! Even before I got the Z, I was always annoyed when a truck launched a small rock or general crap from the road that hits my truck's windshield, which ain't exactly low to the ground! Yeah, I've got a small lift and larger than stock tires but I kept my flaps on. Also, anyone else annoyed with big trucks and HID bulbs that either aren't aimed properly or are not housed in a proper projector assembly?

We have that mudflap law here, but the cops can't catch every fish in the sea.

I think we have a law too, but for the most part, the only full-size trucks out here that have flaps are bone stock.

Oh and to answer your question about modding the Z, well lets just say I'm well on my way. I love modding vehicles myself because of what I learn in the process of doing it. Its very rewarding making your vehicle better or more personnal and learning something along the way.

My buddy had a 7.3 cc with short box, it was a great truck. The edge tuning seems to work really well on the 7.3, since they are out here in Utah a ton of people run em.

What garret are you running? 3771rs?

I also feel you on the tire situation, when I was running the 35's the Titan would burn em, but the 37's are a whole new story, lets just say the Truck doesn't appreciate the extra weight! hahah

Cool, my next truck will be a diesel for sure, I love the Titan but I tow so much that the extra grunt of the diesel would be great.

I went back and looked at the pics of your truck again and I must say, you have done an amazing job of keeping that rig clean, It is a beautiful truck man

thank you, the key is not taking it off road and tearing it up. shitt cost too much money to just destroy. they start making weird noise and the drivetrain becomes loose, this thing actually drives like it was stock and the mickey thompson are the best damn tire i ever had, these things are quiet and great wear!!!!!wheels on the other hand are a piece of shitt and would throw them abck threw the window of where i bought them if i could

Do you have any other mods planned for your T?

I rarely take my truck offroad, but a few weeks ago I need to go through some deep snow and on the way back I figured I would play around and I was doing about 40 and went through a big roller ditch and I guess it stopped my front tires when I hit it and grenaded my drivers side front axle. That was a pricey experience, but I did get to go through the front end of my truck and freshen it up and it hasn't felt this tight since it was new.

oh also Red if you want to try some different rims I highly recommend the KMC XD series wheels, they have proven themselves to be tough as hell and they are great quality. I have never tried the mickey thompson tires but I have heard good things about them, I just can't seem to stray away from the Toyo M/T's!

Not many, a Trutrac rear and maybe PRG's street traction bars. Right now I'm waiting on a local shop to get back with me on an AEM dry filter for my K&N intake, pull my new-ish plugs to make sure they're still new-ish, then I'll have my tuner re-dyno and re-flash the ECU. Gonna be tricky finding funds with the Z screaming for mods and car payments!

I would think that they would still be plenty strong, Possibly ask Mike the powdercoater on his thoughts about it tho. I think those wheels in matte black on your truck would be so good looking, and some smoke recon cab lights

They are indeed a great truck, my cousin has one as well as three of my friends, mine definitely sees the most heavy work duty and it hasn't skipped a beat. I love this truck.

The 6.0's ran good when they ran but man I have heard so many horror stories about them that I wonder if half of em are true.

That licence frame would for sure work well on that truck haha.

I have a ton of PRG stuff on my T, greg has been nothing but the best to work with, I have even had three or four, hour or longer phone calls with him just shootin the bull, he is a stand up guy. I have the PRG offroad trac bars and they are excellent! Are you going to do UpRev?
