I'm not sure what he's done on his GT-R apart from the exhaust and that wrap, but they're not quite the ones to turn to for build documentaries.

I mean I won't hate on him, though. Great for him if his YT vids and selling price of the Z actually put him ahead, or if he's got the money to move fast from car-to-car. He was talking about how the GT-R was his dream car when he first got it, and I think he took delivery without ever going out to inspect it. And then he has his eyes on a Supra and well... yeah, now he makes a video about the C8 making him questioning that prospect.

This isn't like Shmee150 buying another supercar — he sounds like he planned well ahead what he's going into, and he tends to show some commitment, including with his own Supra pre-order.

I’m not hating on him either, but if I need a plumber, I don’t ask him how much his plunger cost.

If you can’t afford the tools of your “trade” you need a new trade.

Bottom line is he seems to be trying to justify his choice of the Supra over the C8 cause he can get one faster. That’s just dumb.

The long beach red (burgundy) is hot. I built one with that color and the ceramic matrix gray. I wouldn't know which one between the two I'd buy.

I think that blue is hot. From 2009 to 2012 they had a 370z in Monterrey blue which was basically that color. I think the guys that specd it out with the persimmon interiors had the hottest Z's.

Oh... Z06... LOVE THE WING AT 5MIN 20SEC

I’m just stoked to see colors other than black, silver and white. Been done to death. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in the words of Homer J Simpson...

BORING!!!

Totally agree. But I think he does well with driving impressions in terms of street driving and ENTRY level enthusiast reviews. Theres no one stop shop you tuber. Just like forums... everyone has their biases as well. I'll usually watch all the videos to get a feel for their critiques. Then go drive them myself.

One thing I will say about my own experiences .. There are very few bad driving cars these days. But theres also very few great cars as well.

But there ARE a bunch of really lousy reviewers!

You might have posted the link to this earlier, but I cannot stand this one...

Donut media is more for comedic value. If you take their reviews seriously, re-evaluate your priorities.

Yeah Mr. Donut is more comedic and for entertainment value. Actually some decent things to pick up if you outright never knew about a particular thing.

Didn't save the link, but a post at the CorvetteForum I saw earlier was pointing to a test driver claiming he did 0-60 in 2.8. Who knows how many launches that DCT can take, but I only do pulls from a roll anyway.

Premature pricing leak?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAjrDtr-MdM

1LT 59,995 (supposedly includes destination fee already)
2LT 67,295
3LT 71,945
+ Z51 5,000
+ Lift 1,495

My ideal Z51 2LT with Lift is kinda as expected. Low 70's.

Was just coming to post. This is basically a steal. So probably with the nappa leather and carbon fiber options? Itll probably top out around $83,000.
That's amszing!!!
