As much as I love the GTR, I can't see the SpecV being worth $170k. IMO the regular GTR is a performance bargain, the SpecV not so much.

Will it be available in the US? Not that I can afford it though.

So I'm assuming the exclusivity of the SpecV has a lot to do with the price?

Its got the same problem the ZR1 has. It looks too much like the base car. Should have had a more aggressive front etc. I really like it though. Cant wait till the Ring times are released. I missed the power output. 550-600hp? Overboost sounds like it could be problematic a la LC lol. I can see owners using it ALL the time like they did with LC. Would read up on the warranty before using any GTR feature Cant wait for tests vs ACR/ZR1/GT2 etc...

Standing in front of it, sure... I don't see a $170K car. But I think if we look in to the details of its hardware, then we will see why. The quality and the kind of durability to withstand high performance driving is already a good indication. I could imagine the price of its carbon ceramic brakes alone to be in the thousands of dollars. Let's not forget the kind of quality and materials used that builds the engine, to point out a few.

And are these back seats?
