So since I installed my cbe, test pipe, and intake, my car has felt so slow. slower than I expected, although I never really got on my car due to the break in period while it was stock. It did have a lot more bottom end and now that I have gotten on my car it just feels slower than I thought. When I hit 3k rpm's I expect a kick and I get nothing. Ive always had a car with a turbo so maybe I expect too much. I'm about to try and trade it in on an Evo again lol.

it needs tuned. with the Z when a intake/exhaust combo is added it leans out the car where a tune will fix it right up and probably add 8-12HP.

Same here, I need intakes + tune, but working on getting my wing installed first.

i'm in the group buy for the new Akuma intakes. hopefully the testing is true and they are just as good if not better than stillens

I'm not imagining they will be OMG better than the Stillens, but what they do offer is one piece piping, less fab work needed, a complimentary intake tune, and they are cheaper. So whether or not they exceed Stillen gains, for the cost, it's just.

Our acura store has a 2010 white evo for sale, would hate to see you do it tho...as discussed quite often the Zs have a very linear power delivery, even the hondas give you that kick with VTAK, which is really fun on a modified honda, and you will never find that on the nissan sadly, sometime you have to watch the speedo climb to realize your acceleration rate...although it can be modded better do you really want the cracker jack box toy back?
My 350 felt sooo much better after a tune, no dad stops in the power range at all.

honestly i like the linear climb. there's always power no dips in the gains. i think his Z just needs some uprev lovin and it'll be more to his liking

I thought about getting the oriris standard just to flash it...but its the same price as going out to a dyno and getting a custom tune. I read that uprev's flashes are pretty dead on and wont need much custom tuning afterwards. Especially with just exhaust and intake so I think I'll order the standard.

custom tunes are fine for normal stuff like intakes and exhaust but they really come in handy when going TT and SC

Ya, I'm gonna call uprev today and just get the standard so I can do flashes. I dont care to ever drive to a dyno until I can get the money to turbo it.

I didn't realize they had licenses. When I had my evo, you downloaded the program for free and could flash any car you wanted. A flash was $50 and you were g2g
