well it's pretty loud not gonna lie lol

but i enjoy it and with windows up and highway driving in 5/6/7 gear its actually not bad at all. it's like stealthy. in high gears the exhaust note is there but its not in your face to make you think its straight.

but anything over 3500/4000 RPMS holy hell it's a monster lol at 7k+ RPMS it's literally screaming

Sweet. Right where I thought it was. I'll have to make sure I actually drive the Z that morning. Depending on the weather I may bring the bike. Haven't quite decided yet.

Boy oh boy that sounds like great father/son time. But Thursday :eek2: I thought I had heard some stories about people running through cars but mane that's quick. Specs on the m3 (not that I'm really sure I want to switch after 9 days with the Z :D ). What else have you gone through??

nothing too special i guess mostly just normal cars. still got a 2013 Camaro hanging around and now the M3. did a old vette over the winter. few more too.

M3 is a 2005 so it's a 346 with the inline 6 cyl. came with 333hp and 265tq. has aftermarket exhaust and intake, light tune, short thrwo kit, etc.

I think my favorite part of this is how nonchalant you are about it :icon17:

Sounds like you've had a pretty impressive line up though. Pretty sweet. Do you do the work on them after you buy them or do you get them pre-modded??

FPenvy is right.....the only difficult install from the manifold back is those beepin cats.....otherwise, the CBE install is cake. Just get everything lined up before you synch everything down tight.

Edit: yeah I totally posted in the wrong forum....that's what I get for being up 19 hours. Going to bed lol

Just something we do on the side lol

Mostly we just flip normal cars like maximas, focuses, caddys, toyotas, tracks, etc. once in awhile we do bigger stuff like this m3. Usually it's just whatever the car needs to be front line ready is what we do or sub it out since we are set up for paint and body work not do we want the headaches lol

Plus full auction credentials nationwide help too lol

Hmm seems like a pretty solid gig to do on the side. You guys seem to have it all worked out at this point. Might have to consider doing something like this for mod money... err uhh "Savings"...

Makes sense. There's a part of me that wished I did that when I was modding the GTI, but what's done is done. I would probably do the same thing with a side gig honestly

trust me it's not fun at first. i didnt start paying on mine until a year after i graduated. i got lucky with having a gear head father who enjoys selling cars and let me help out.

Definitely a good situation to be in. I was excited about having a "big boy job" and no loan payments for the first 6 months so I had some fun. I also figured that since I knew the money had to come out I could always get rid of some of my toys if finances got tight.

Got a new big boy job so I'm not super worried. Don't mind having a car note but I just want school to be gone Houdini style

ZeeZee 06-25-2014 08:53 AM

Hey FP, how did you like the traffic this morning on your way to work? I hope you got to work from home, I made it to the GetGo and turned back. I new the side roads were going to be a mess as well.
