Well I'm not near squirrel hill to be around but good luck with you case.

I work NW of the city about 20 minutes or so depending on traffic lol

Also ill give you forewarning that they have been working on the squirrel hill tunnels so some lanes get shut down sometimes and need to take detours. Give yourself a little extra time just in case.

RonRizz 04-26-2013 09:43 PM

Thanks for the info. I intend to leave at least 1 hour early, so I have time to review things in the parking lot. I'm at the mercy of the tom-tom when I head out there (which is pretty rare) so I never know what I'm getting into! I do love the drive out on the turnpike, though! The Plateau area ( I believe thats what they call it) is beautiful, and its balls to the wall in the tunnels!!! lol.
As far as the case goes. it's pretty much a slam-dunk for me. I'm sure the guy wasn't counting on me making the effort, or the drive out to recover my losses, but it's the principal for me, not the $$. I appreciate your well wishes, though..:tiphat:

Rusty 04-26-2013 10:04 PM

On the news. They are says to stay away from the Squirrel Hill tunnel. Penndot is doing their thing there. Blocking traffic. The turn pike tunnels are fun. :driving: Good luck with what you have to do.

Pine Grove. I'll be out that way on the weekend of 6/21 thru 6/23. Going to Rausch Creek Off Road Park with my Power Wagon and camper.:D

Rausch creek is awesome. About a 3 minute ride from my place. I'm right off Exit 104 in Ravine.

Our Power Wagon group is staying at the Jonetown KOA. You have to stop by.

Honesty 04-27-2013 08:25 AM

Joepro, I'm noticing your car out front again. Looks great with the dark wheels.

Any clue what's happening to the old Italian Oven? I saw guys working on it a couple days ago.

Ok, Right off exit 90. I know the place. Have you ever been to the Twin grove Campground off exit 100 ? Really nice, and closer to The off road park as well.
I'd love to meet and say hello, and whatever you do, please don't buy firewood at the campground. I have about 6 cord split and ready to go. I'd gladly run some by for you all.
Keep in touch.
Ron

We stayed at Twin Grove the last 3 years. This year when we booked for camp sites. They didn't have any left for us. The weekend we are going, is their fireworks weekend. You got firewood. We'll burn it. LOL

RonRizz 04-28-2013 05:15 AM

Tons of firewood. I'll hook you up...... And plenty of fireworks, too, but that close to July 4th, my stock usually runs pretty low. (not that I would ever sell illegal fireworks) Lol.
Prior to your trip, PM me and we can exchange cell #'s.

TY.

Remodeling to make it the used car center for our side of the road just like on the other side, all the used cars for Acura, Honda, and Benz will be sold there. Supposed to be up and running by July.

Joepro 04-29-2013 10:45 PM

Gonna need tires, what are you guys running? I need to throw the stockers away that are in the front, they are dry rotting, and just burned through the set of rears I put on, they were s-04 pole positions, I will likely get them again, I was happy with them with the exception of tread life, but I cant have my cake and eat it too, and slightly cheaper than the PSS. If anyone says V12's I will smite thee.

XwChriswX 04-29-2013 10:48 PM

PSS' are the best tire to get for the street.

Conti DW's are good for the driver on a budget.

I agree with Chris. The Michelin pss's are amazing if you got the 1500 to drop on them. I have them and will most likely but them again unless they release a newer better version.

$1500 may work for Stock sizes, if you plan to go wider, easily $2k. :ugh2:

Joepro 04-29-2013 11:08 PM

1200 plus shipping on tire rack for pss, in 265/35 and 295/30...the ps2 is way out there in la la land 1800..

Then their prices have gone Way down when I ordered them, or the shop that ordered them really fucked me because when I ordered my 255/25 and 295/30 sets, it was $1850 installed.

I guess TPMS replacements were $500? :ugh2:

Joepro 04-29-2013 11:18 PM

not sure I really need wider tires, but they are only 24 bucks more than stock

If you give the car more power than stock, you'll want wider tires. Even with the 295's they don't hook till 3rd.

Ouch...When you guys need tires mounted LMK, we have an auto34 hunter, if shops are charging outrageous fees, I can get help you out if you make the long haul to gburg. I am not running my sensors, did not want to tighten the nuts down in my PC'ed wheels..if anyone needs sensors I have 4 good ones. Shop that sell tpms kits or rebuilds are robbing you of your money...all BS.

Once I get the new z1 headers ard tune, hoping to be around 330whp...Honestly, now I can chrip second and third with slamming gears and poor shifting, but other than off the line with a poor launch these have not "broken loose", but hey for 24 bucks, wider it will be. I get paid on the 7th thank god, even tho it was a crappy month there goes most of that check, thank you right foot.

I have TPMS on mine cause I hate the damn light being on. But one of them must have not been properly replaced, or dinged when they swapped the tire so I need to get 1 more to fix it. That'll happen when those tires need to get replaced after the summer, and I switch from 255s to 265s in the front.

Think I paid $1600 for the PSS donuts I got. Mounted and balanced. With the VDC off. I can light them up no problem in 2nd. Just smash the loud pedal. :d. Grap 3rd, and spin them some more. :driving:

felt a million times better driving back through the smoke

i've never had anyone take time to check nor seen them take a look. i think the only time i've seen that is to make sure DRs/slicks were DOT approved.

Joepro 04-30-2013 09:11 AM

might have the new rubber mounted up by then anyway...as long as the weather is good I sould make it out, I will know 100% by Sat.

very nice sir :tiphat:

the shorter tires with a swift drop should still look fine. i still am on the fence about putting 18x12 wheels and drag radials on for the import faceoff at the end of june. :stirthepot:

yea well if i do these wheels and tires combo it would be $550+shipping for wheels and then $725 for tires if i got 345, $700 for 315's, and $650 if i go 305. not sure which would work best though.

305/45R/18
315/30R/18
345/35R/18

regardless i'm looking at around $1300-1400 all said and down for just rears lol

Joepro 05-01-2013 04:47 PM

tire rack go the tires here already, got them on...already thinking I made a 1200 dollar mistake, the tires ride great, grip is fantastic in the back, but my oh my, the steering response is crap and feels sloppy...I will try to play with the pressures too but I am not getting the wider tire on the front other than to compensate for the understeer from the rear being so wide...oh well, we will see. Talked to a few guys at work, may have some interested for the flashlights!
