Hey,

Advertised HP is measured at the crank. It does not account for the parasitic loss that occurs in the drivetrain during power delivery.

Dyno test measures the power at the wheels. As a result the loss has already occurred, which is why the numbers are lower than advertised.

Only few car manufacturers advertise their hp at the wheels, like BMW.
