At least on this rendering it looks like the rear quarter windows will be more useable :)

COSMO 07-08-2016 11:34 AM

The rear looks like an old Honda crx.. Any decent sports car has to has a nice @ss or it just doesn't flow,,

well if you compare the rear quarter panel of that concept vs the FRS is almost the same hahha! look those lines... the creator maybe use the FRS as the base to made it :wtf2:

$60K for next new Z35?

Rumored to be 2.5L 4cyl turbo and V6 3.0 twin turbo.. also 50th anniversary edition

2.5 4cyl turbo? you sure it's not the 2.0T currently offered in the Q50 and then the next Q60? where are you getting this info if you don't mind me asking....

NRTim 07-08-2016 06:50 PM

I still strongly believe Nissan is going to offer 2 engine choices for the next Z with a whole bunch of trim levels

sunkist350z 07-08-2016 06:50 PM

I like it just has to be cleaned up a bit on final production.

I think so as well :driving:, he ran a couple runs all resulted in a similar time/trap speed! It may be underrated because that's trapping some 7 or 8 mph faster than a 3.7 AWD Q50 on average!

Great find best picture of the z35 yet:yum:

Nixin 07-09-2016 03:13 PM

If that is the new Z35, I will not be trading in my Z34. IMHO, the vehicle is hideous.

So happy to see a RE-render of a grip Z coupe...

While maybe, an area or two has to be cleaned up like the taillights... I think it looks phenomenal. The rear looks like the original 240z with the aftermarket rear racing spoiler. So if the FRS looks like this? Then the FRS took styling from the 240z... not the other way around. It should bring the original enthusiasts back.

The side vent has a "viper" look and that makes it look extra aggressive. I think this will be the 400HP car.... NOT the base car or 300HP car. I think those will have a more "play it safe conservative design with some aftermarket Miami bits to snazz it up....

Sign me up for the next Z. If it comes out like this which is just a GRIP Z coupe render like the other one I posted with that more conservative looking Z early in the year. Then I'm completely in.

Nissan..... Don't eff this up.

Hydraulic rack

Hand brake

Mechanical LSD.

Sub 51" ride height.

Minimalist but high tech interior.

UNKNOWN_370 07-10-2016 12:01 AM

Why is the gas cap there?

Rear does look like a modern day 240z :iagree:

Liking the new design. But I do hope they lose that chrome grill on the front comes production time. It makes the car looks cheap IMO. Otherwise, it'll be the first thing to do on my mod list! :p

I think Nissan is putting that chrome U on all their vehicles now if I'm not mistaken, like a brand recognition thing. Even the 2017 GT-R has it, just not as prominent

I'm just glad the Q60 coupe is out now. The aftermarket should have a decent amount of mods ready by next year.

Can you imagine these videos but with the next Z35?

Just a hair lower than the N14 Mini motor. A motor that can get great gains but seems heavily reliant on meth to get there.

Nice video, but why is the burgundy always featured?? The silver & white accentuates the lines better for the new q60 coupe. From the pictures it self shows.

Zbrah 07-10-2016 10:08 PM

Because red stirs emotion in people that are associated with excitement, thrills seeking and high performance. While white and silver set a tone for classiness and luxury, you often see these colors for SUV's and family sedans.

$60K is not a lot of money for a brand new luxury car these days. It's not cheap, but it sure isn't expensive.

Dirk McGurck 07-11-2016 10:07 AM

Isn't the Q60 less than $60k anyway?

I think he is talking about when you spec with all the options. I believe to be almost 56k.

COSMO 07-11-2016 03:23 PM

The few we have here are $58k.. Again for that money I would shell out another 10k for an m4 which would out perform and hold its value a lot better than the infiniti.. Buying the first year or two is crazy anyway because there will be bugs that need to be worked out..
