I've seen 3 of the new Supras since launch including one this week on my commute. That one could've just been a test drive for all I know. They are very, very rare.

one of the local guys has a widebody one in advan livery.
it looks pretty effin cool. It was cool enough that my non car friends were like "holy sh*t! what is that thing!?" They never care about cars so that says something. |

I’ve yet to see one in the wild in my city- just saw them across the fence when they were coming into the country at the Autoport. Granted it is winter, so people might be waiting until spring to drive them.

Supra 2019/20 GR GT $90,000AUS and GR GTS $103,000AUS. To give you US folk an idea a new 370Z is about $60,000 so entry level Supra is $30k more expensive, now that's a lot of money! |

I think the bmw supra is a bit pricey but it doesnt have any resemblance of the mkiv.
Imo it's just of a fail. Especially with all the fake *** vents. If the new Z is expensive, than nissan wont make any Z cars. Especially with their financial issues. Nissan needs to make cheaper trim levels of the new Z Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

At least they should of kept the wheelbase same as the mkiv. For me I'm not a fan of the look. Now the concept design is much nicer. Supposedly they went with the zf tranny. I guess it can handle more power. But it seems its cheaper for them to go with the zf. Since a lot of other manufacturers are using the same tranny. Let's hope the design of the Z will be better than the supra. But I think, if anything, they will fall short if they use the Nissan's auto transmission. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Is there any other Nissan using the 3.7 motor in the Z? If not, replacing it with the 3.0TT could be seen as a cost cutting, streamlining measure. Grasping for straws I know.
