I went and looked at a 2015 GT-R Black Edition last Saturday with my son. Went from $116k to $101k. That's my ultimate car to have but no way I could swing the note and keep up with all the normal up keep with that car. That is one high maintenance girl. Not that she's not worth it but just out of my reach for now.

I agree. on the other hand I get the break where I can go get a 2015 GT-R for much less but it's still not a smart move financially at the moment.

right now I see 2015 black edition 2 color options 16k miles - $75k

2014 premiums with 5-20K miles - $62-70k

2016's for $82-87K

$60K for next new Z35?

Now "if" I could ever come across a used one in the $60-70K range then it's totally doable. (I haven't been looking very hard)

The 2015 was the first one that I had ever seen in person in this area. I was beginning to think that they were just a myth like Bigfoot before Saturday. I was shocked to just see it in person. I even had to geek out and touch it and yes even sit in it. :icon17:

I don't see them often just everyday driving aside from the 2 guys who live by me.

but I go to cars and coffee there are around 10-15 of them including a Nismo GTR.

No way in hell would I let my son even touch it if I owned a GT-R Nismo. Hell, I doubt that he would even be allowed to ever look at.

That dude must have more money than he really needs to let a 19 year old behind the wheel of the Holy Grail of cars.

Amen to that!

it's only a car. not like there's only one of them in the world. the nismo might be a little more rare, but i see gtr's daily here in atlanta from young people driving to grandpas.

Atlanta has more money than where I'm at so they may not be as rare of a sight there.
