makes you want to be a member of a union doesnt it! a lot of folks dislike unions, but that sounds like a fight for a union to take on!

The unions had their place in time; before all the labor laws came into the workplace. Now that we have all these laws, the unions are nothing but thugs.

Forget the pennies, I placed a nickle size piece of hard rubber (childs school eraser ) in each spring cylinder and it works perfect

m4a1mustang 01-30-2010 08:38 PM

So instead of taking the car in for a warranty claim and wasting my time, I almost feel like it's a better deal for me just to order the correct springs and install them myself.

Somewhere in a Charleston, SC schoolroom a child goes without the ability to undo a simple mistake, all because of one man's quest to lift his hatch.

Yeah, unless they are English majors. You have to write in pen in English class because the pen does not allow you to erase, thus exposing all of your thoughts on paper. But then they just turn out to be sociopathic killers and sort of hurt society, by killing its members.

So I suggest you start stealing as much ink as you can.

 ink won't fix the stuck hatch ..................... ok, I see the connection now......... Nissan is responsible for the future sociopaths of America because they were too cheap to do a recall on the short hatch springs , damn corporations :stirthepot: :p

I know right.

Well, you can dry the ink and probably somehow make it into something that could help your hatch. Or you could resell the ink to squid and octopii and use that money to buy new springs. Don't know if Nissan will accept payment in seashells, though. But a seashell collector could probably do the exchange for you.

Dwain65 01-30-2010 11:43 PM

Rear Hatch..

Interesting, my 2003 Z had the same issue and subsequent TSB issued. Why would they make the same mistake 6 years later.
