Just came back from dealer. Was in and out in 30 minutes. Checked out the sticker and it reads 48700 JF00D B1 01.

Not sure why the date on sticker was 05-03-13 though.

Going on the assumption that Nissan doesn't have a time machine, the date must be in DD-MM-YY form.

Correct, the rest of the world operates that way, the US is MM-DD-YY.
Mults, sounds like the dealership is just being retarded. Found out they were out of stock so made up some excuse, if you have any other options go to that dealership.

Well, I just got a call from the dealer and they found a local dealer with the part in stock for another customer's recalled Z. So, all is well with the world. It sucks for the other car, but it's OK with me :happydance:.

Now, let's see how many additional miles are on the car from the time I dropped it off yesterday.

Just got the notice from the mail. For a 2010 w/ 41k, ESCL still functions and has never failed me yet (knock on wood). I'll head to the dealer in a moment.

Got mine in the mail on Saturday. Nissan dealer is across the street from my office... But I unplugged the fuse months and months ago though...

I wanted to pull the fuse too, but just not having a lock bugs me.

i'm at the mossy nissan SD dealership to have it replaced.

Wabbyyy 04-16-2013 02:33 PM

How long did it take and which one in SD did you take it to?

I took it to Mossy Nissan in National City. It took them 2 hours, look for Jose or Jorge on the service dept.

-edit-
I saw a gun metallic 370Z that had their ESCL replaced as well, anyone know who this is? It had a blacked out rear valence, couldn't see the rest since it's all the way inside the service depot.

The ESCL fuse is put back and the new ESCL is getting replaced tomorrow.

Isn't it strange how the 370Z's in Australia are immune to this problem. So the local Nissan dealer informs me.

I just got the notice in the mail. About time they do something about it!

But about 4 months ago this went out on me, at a gas station in the rain...crappy situation. And they had the car for 2 weeks, as the part was back-ordered, didn't even wash it, but luckily it was covered under warranty.

+1 they finally do something about it, especially if it hasn't happend to you yet and you dont have warranty.
