Default Mysterious fog appears on inside of windshield..

Look at the picture. Not the reflection of my dash cluster, but right next to it is some fog you can see.

I have wiped it off, but it comes back.(so not one-time thing)

I come back to the car much later and it is still there (so not from hot/cold condensation).

What could it be? My first thought is the vent is shooting out vaporized coolant onto the windshield. I don't know how to confirm this. It sound crazy though because the car is so new (2010) but I do autocross sometimes.

I thought you were going to have pictures of Jesus in the fog... You know like the grilled cheese sandwich that looked like Jesus. lol

What have you used to clean the window with? Does it go away with the windshield defroster on?

I used a microfiber until it was gone. Defroster doesn't help. It's there even the next day.

Are you using any product with your microfibre cloth to clean the windshield? If not try using some "invisible glass" to clean the windshield and see if it comes back.

I had a previous car that had a fine leak in the heater core which would cause a fog on the windshield as the coolant would condense on the cool glass. Is it slippery and smells vaguely sweet? If it does it could be the coolant.
