Default Rodent in Engine Bay!!!

The power outlets in my car suddenly stopped working and after replacing, what I presumed to be blown/kicked out fuses, the outlets still did not work. After taking my car to the dealership to have them check out the issue, I was told that little footprints and droppings were found in my engine bay! They told me that the little rats apparently chewed through wiring, causing my outlets to not work at the very least. (And of course, warranty doesn't cover this and I had to pay out of pocket for their "diagnosis.")
Unfortunately, I go to school in San Diego and had my car checked out in Los Angeles so after filing a claim w/ insurance, I now have to get my car repaired at a shop out in SD...
Also something that may or not be correlated with this issue is the fact that when I'd start my car, it would very weakly turn over and then immediately die in the "stalled" position. (I drive a 7AT.)

Funny you mention this , I also found mice/rat droppings on top of my manifold last week
I sprayed the car engine bay down with mice repellent , put Bounty dryer sheets and moth balls as they don't like the smell

I park my car outside so it's harder to keep the area clean

Once I had a brand new T-Bird and while driving, it began to take off full throttle. It just would not slow down. I got it stopped and turned off only to find some squirrel had piled about 50 small green pine cones on the intake manifold and they got all jammed up behind the throttle linkage.

Needless to say I had a nice war with the squirrels in the yard for about a month or so....

AC Blower motor stopped working in my frontier, just 0 airflow. Bought a new one, when i dropped out the old one there was a mouse nest built up right on top of the fan keeping it from spinning. Cleaned it off and reinstalled the old one. Works 100%. Returned the new one for full refund.

Also one of the shop trucks where I work is an old S10. It was parked for a while and we were having trouble getting it started. Turns out a mouse had chewed one of the spark plug wires all to hell. Said wire was arcing off the exhaust manifold and dropping what looked like welding sparks. We didn't find out about that till the next day, because the rest of the afternoon was spent dealing with the 10 acre wildfire it started and answering questions from the Fire and Sheriff's Dept.
