Default Top down windows down!!

OK guys it is finally nice out there and is again possible. I took an hour drive with the top down enjoying the weather. Now my problem: I saw 3 other verts (none Z's) and all three had their windows up with the top down. WTH. Don't be a tool and drive with your windows up. Notice how they go down when the top goes down? OK so how many of you agree with me? I've driven mine in 30 degree weather with top down, seat heat on, car heat on and it was comfortable.

I prefer the top down AND windows down. We choose a Vert because we like open air, this is my 3rd convertible since 2000.

However, depends on when and where, sometimes I have to put up the windows, like when I am driving to work in the morning going 100-130km/h on the HWY for 35 minutes.... my hair will get all messed up if I have the windows down

But other than that, I like to have windows and top down as much as I can

Top down/windows down also. However, there have been a few times when the windows went up due to air turbulence in combination with cooler temperatures blowing down the back of my neck.

When it's cold or raining outside I keep the windows up and the heater on, but the top is down. If I am driving the S2000, the top is down. Even if it's 30 degrees out. Windows up, heat on, but the top is down.

nothing like having the choice right, doesnt bother me. I roll up during calls, conversations, busy traffic ( people stare their *** off) and also for other activities. I guess its just a bit of privacy and still having the top off.

Im on your side. I used to own a convertible and I would always make fun of people who had the top down and windows up. To me, it just makes no sense... like people who wear shorts and long sleeve shirts with hoodies lol

Default Depends

I certainly don't like the looks of the windows up, but I think it depends on the car itself, the weather, and the situation at the time.

For the car itself, some cars get serious buffeting inside the cabin with everything down. That's why you see lots of cars having those screens or low back windows between the seats, to cut down on the buffeting. Putting the windows up in many cars will significantly decrease the amount of buffeting. This is especially true at higher highway speeds. Some cars are just brutal on the highway, like riding a motor cycle without a windscreen. Sometimes all that wind is fun and part of the game, but sometimes it's not and can be annoying.

The weather is a thing too. Winds can increase as you go along, or the temp may drop as you go along. Turning on the heater goes a long way to helping, but if it's cold already when you start off driving around town, but then you get on the highway, it might well just be too cold without rolling up the windows. I think it can be kind of fun actually, when it's really cold, because it makes you hunker down in your seat and get really cozy. It's certainly a more fun option that putting the top back up.

The situation may involve that you just fixed up your hair for a meeting or a party or work or something, and while you love the top down, you just can't afford for your hair to be a totally mess when you get there. Less buffeting means better hair. That's just one example, there are many more. Perhaps they are just like 80 years old, and loved the full open driving thing when younger, and are just trying to get what little of it they can have back without ruining their hearing aids? Who knows the exact reason.

Of course full window down top down is the best experience, and that's what convertibles are for. But windows up top down is a great medium ground when necessary. If you actually make fun of people who do it, you either have your own set of priorities, or you're just being curt with understanding their needs and being in their shoes. Seems a bit immature to me; it's their car, they can do it how they want. What you and I think is irrelevant.

100%

There are days when I want the top down but windows up and there are days when I have the top and windows down! Don't make fun of me!
