This doo-hickey alters the voltage output curve of the throttle pedal. That's all it can do. It simply makes 10% pedal travel look electrically like 20% pedal travel to the ECU. Any delays built into the ECU's programming are still there.

Remember Toyota's sudden unintended acceleration debacle?
What happens if this doo-hickey goes into a fault condition and sends a 100% throttle signal to the ECU? It is plugged into all the right wires to be able to do so.
Well, I can tell a difference even with 100% throttle applied. Not sure how that's possible since I understand how it works and 100% throttle should still be 100% throttle. But from low RPM's I can feel a difference when applying full throttle. Can't really explain why, but I'm not complaining.

And if the doo hickey malfunctions and the engine goes full throttle, I'll just pop it in neutral.

Yes it will make a huge difference. There is so much more electronically controlled too, transmission shifting and speed of shifts. It's like anything else dsp controlled. I can't stress the difference it made on a turbo. I'd hear it spool so much quicker and made the audi a whole other car. Like you expect straight from the dealer in a high performance car. Now, I know the z will be just that much better. For me, it made me regret money spent on other mods. I can predict it will want more intake.

Brian in Bakersfield...

Just remember to switch it back to stock mode if you ever had to valet your car. Wouldn't want an unsuspecting valet guy to put your car thru a wall lol

I see that these sprint booster's are an addition (of quicker throttle response) to an up-rev tune,etc...

Default Found this for pedal removal...

This is probably the most time consuming part...

Wonder if it will cause traction issues, I'm stock with the addition of K&N drop in's & have no problem out the hole...see video 0-75.https://vimeo.com/137730594 7sp.A/T

I'm hoping it will improve acceleration from rolling start/cruising. Standing starts are typically pretty good.
