My whole family sees cars as tools - nothing fun. I guess that's what happens when they are Insurance agents who see nasty accidents every day. Oh, are they going to be terrified when I give them a quick ride in the Z!

I'll try to remember to do that.

I'm also thinking it's probably a good idea to take my 8 year old nephew to a track day with me. Maybe I'll wait till he's a bit older, but I do need to take him to a real race. He already talks about Ferrari every day thanks to me, so it's about time I start showing him what I'm always going on about.

Every source tells us that Nissan is simplifying their lineup. In the case of leather, they are all implying that it's Touring only.

Bummer. Looks like Nissan is going to force me to spend more than I want on this car.
I need leather, and I need sports package. So now I'm looking at an almost fully loaded Z (Touring + Sports) 36-38k
I was hoping to spend closer to the 35k mark.

Thats pretty much how I feel. At that point I would like Navi too, but $40k is just too overpriced. I guess I'll have to try it out and see if I can justify it then.

$40k is waaay too much. I think my brother paid about that much for his G37 sport coupe, minus navi.

My sentiments exactly. If you get touring, you might as well get the nav since it integrates everything so nicely.
But 40k seems overpriced.

the difference in the G bose and Z bose is the Z will have a dedicated sub in the rear where as the G utilizes 2 10" in the doors. I must say I do like the driver audio stage design which focuses the sound for the driver.

Bose has always suffered from "blows." Bose really doesn't blow though, it sucks.

LOL at al the Blose comments.

I was extremely disappointed with the 350z Bose system. Even with my very low expectations, I was still disappointed! The lame 10-inch "subwoofer" cannot play bass below 100 Hz.

I have listened to the 370z Bose and I can confirm it is WORLDS better. It has a subwoofer enclosure that fits inside the rim of the spare tire, which plays down to about 50 Hz with authority. It appears to be a bandpass unit since there was no woofer visible (I could be wrong). likely it is a 4-inch or 5-inch bandpass unit and it puts out much more and lower bass than the 10-inch paper-plate woofer in the 350.

I think the 370z bose is worth the $$ for those that do not want to go big for aftermarket and want to keep the weight down.

I hope that helps...

If the 370Z hits 40k fully loaded, im going to be disappointed. I was expecting 37k MAX for a fully loaded Z.
