NC=expensive. Look into buying from DC or Florida. More common car, less expensive. I bought my 11 6mt w/sport for $5,000+ less than what lesser (no sports) Zs in this area were going for. 1-way rental = $200. If the savings exceed that, plus the gas to the location and back, I would shoot for that. As for base pricing, I don't know what a good price is these days.

Shuto, that's crazy good deal. None of the damn dealers where I live is not trying to go that low. Most are telling me 37k otd. I'm like I know you idiots can do more. I'm thinking average customers in my local area according truecar.come is paying 37k. It's mostly like why they won't budge when I was offering them 35k otd. Shuto, did you get anything else other than the sport package?

I agree with CDepp. I live in Charlotte, and I've been looking for a 370z IN NC for the past 2 years (since I joined the forum) and I have to say I have found NONE for my price range and options (Fully loaded ). But if you're looking for a base model or base +sport try checking East Charlotte Nissan; I know they had a Black Base+sport 2011 for $35k (which is a crap load).

So yeah, try for out of state. I'd NOT recommend Clearwater Nissan in Florida though; They screwed me over on a vehicle. But you need to know that if you are going to get a vehicle from out of state, to make sure you know the risks; Dealer might not care about the vehicle after you've driven it off their lot, and etc.

So yeah, I'm in the same boat as you my friend. And for NEW 370z, you should've looked around last month since Nissan had a special 0% financing on 370z's for March. Hope you find your vehicle.

Credit Union loan. If you don't have an account, get one. Getting a loan at a dealership is just bad unless you plan to re-finance soon. My credit wasn't 'the best', but not bad. No bank would get me the loan for my Z under 7%. Ridiculous. But, that's mainly because I was buying from an individual on a used car. My CU got me 2.5%.

Nissan still has the 0% financing available for Buyers with 690+ Credit Rating and for 60 months. So, yeah like CDepp said, try the credit unions if the dealer is noncompliant. Just shop around and you'll be able to find it. And make sure that the dealer will try to screw you over (in NC that is) for a NEW Z.

Good luck man.

Looks like there's $1k rebate and 0.0% financing. The invoice price for the base model is on there. I'd use that as a starting point.
